Well … the gal can sing! And what more worthy accompaniment to the voice than a show-stopping arrangement that launches any listener into the stratosphere of musical bliss. The choir. Those drumfills. That electric guitar gliss! Wow.

Coming in a close second was Phelpy’s ‘O Holy Night’. A surprise for the top two – but Phelpsy does do some ‘tear welling, praise inducing’ stratosphere launching of his own! 

Third – Coldplay’s Christmas Lights. Not so epic as Israel. Not so vocally mind-blowing as Mariah. Not so tight as Freddy. But gosh – doesn’t it grow on you! It’s catchy. It’s a bit folky. It’s Coldplay!

So, after another successful hunt, the gates are thrown open again.
